Well, as for sketching/colouring, I only do the inking and the colouring. I don't draw the images, they're drawn by my friends and few other talented artists who have given me permission to colour their line-arts. You can always see the name of the line-art artist in the description. :)
As for studying... I was in an art-school for 10 years (starting at age 6, although I had spent the previous year in an art-class at kindergarten). Then I went to Senior Secondary School of Visual Arts for three years. So yeah, I've been studying and practising a lot. :)

About selling your art... from what I've seen, most of it is fan-art which you really don't have permissions to make money from (that's why DA-prints won't accept fan-art as prints etc.) =/
